first steps towards progress

Intake

After you contact us, our team will reach out to complete an intake over the phone. This is a chance for us to get to know you and make sure we’re the right fit for your family’s needs. It’s also an opportunity for you to ask any questions about our services. During the intake we’ll also request your insurance information for verification. From there we’ll match you with a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Initial Assessment

After we obtain approval from your insurance company, one of our dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) will schedule an initial assessment. During this appointment the clinician will complete several validated assessment measures to establish your family’s goals and a baseline for care.

Initial authorization

After completing the initial assessment, your dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will submit another approval request to your insurance for the clinically recommended level of care. Generally the first approval period lasts 6 months for a specific number of hours per week, based on the assessment.

Ongoing Care

An essential part of care during the first 6 months is constant re-evaluation and collaboration to adjust your child’s goals based on data collection, parent report, and observation. Every 6 months your dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will request reapproval from your insurance by demonstrating ongoing progress and continued need for services.

What is ABA Therapy?

Backed by decades of research, ABA is proven to help children with autism and other diagnoses make meaningful progress.

Each child receives a customized therapy plan tailored to their strengths and needs.

ABA helps build essential life skills, including communication, social interaction, and daily living skills.

Therapists use positive reinforcement to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging ones.

Families are actively involved in the therapy process to support their child’s growth and development.
